The pallet wall is moving slowly. If we had a weekend to knock it all out, things might be different. Instead, we’re working a few hours each evening. After several nights spent stripping the pallets into individuals boards and a few more nights sanding those boards down, we’re finally getting into the fun stuff! We’re working with a few different wood sizes and several wood types, so we’ve decided to stain the boards. Definitely not the easy route, but after a night of staining, we couldn’t be happier with our decision! The stain really brings out all of the imperfections, knots, and the grain in the wood. Gorgeous.
But since we still have another night of staining in our future before the actual construction begins, I just have a sneak peak for you today
You know we’ll keep you updated as we go.
Side note – Apologies for being a bit MIA lately. I have at least a handful of projects that I’m currently wrapping up! Fun stuff
