I entered our recent living room makeover into Apartment Therapy’s Room for Color Contest a few weeks ago, and we actually made the cut! We’re so completely amazed to even be a participant among so many great rooms! And to make even the tiniest dent in the votes would be way beyond our expectations. With that being said, nobody enters a content to sit back and watch… I want to win!
So, if you’re as fond of our living room & pallet wall as we are, we’d love to have your vote!
With AT’s contests, you are required to sign up for an account (or simply login with your facebook or twitter account!) to submit a vote , but I can promise you, they don’t send out crazy amounts of emails. In fact, I’ve had an account for a while now and not once received an email! So, no worries there
Couldn’t possibly thank you guys enough for any support you may show! Click here to vote!

Hi! I'm Jessie, a wife, mother of two girls, and an interior design fanatic. My husband Rick and I just purchased our second home, a 1950's ranch in dire need of some TLC, in our hometown of Cincinnati, OH. To find out more, click

Woohoo! I recognized your living room right away. What a beautiful, energetic, family-friendly space. Much more livable than most other entries.
voted! good luck guys!
Thanks Sammy!
Clicked over to check out the entries and have to say your living room is by far my favourite palette! Good luck
I love your living room (voted for you). We are in a 1950s ranch and our layout is almost exactly like this. I’m curious – are you happy with your couch? We really need a new one. I’ve seen this on IKEA’s website and it didn’t jump out to me but in your room I love it. Is it comfy?
Thanks for the vote Krysta!
We love our living room couch and it’s super comfortable. The only downfall is that you have to occasionally readjust the seat cushions. They slip and have to be pushed back. And the fabric cover doesn’t stay in place as well as I’d like. I guess you might have that problem with any couch that doesn’t have “fixed” cushions though. Hope this helps!
Jessie
Thanks for the help. (Sorry my comment posted twice – the first one said there was an error.)
I love your living room (voted for it!). Our’s has a very similar layout and I am curious about your couch. I saw in on IKEA’s website and it didn’t stand out to me but I love how it looks in your room. Are you happy with the quality? Is it comfy?
