Halloween ’12

What kind of mom blogger would I be without showing you some Halloween pics of my little ladies? Maybe one to many, but feel free to skip through these kinds of post if you’re just looking for home related things

This year Zoey went as a ladybug. It. Was. Adorable.

We’ve called her Zoe-bug since she was a baby, so it was a very fitting costume. She especially loved the wings and of course, the shoes.

Last year she went as a monster so it was quite the 180.

That sucker lasted a good three hours.

Lizzy dressed as a unicorn. I may be biased, but COME ON. That is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

I’m pretty sure Zoey enjoyed her sister more than usual dressed as a unicorn.

We didn’t actually end up doing a whole lot of trick-or-treating. The weather was terribly cold and wet, and with the girls being so young (and honestly not that interested anyway) we didn’t want to risk anything. Zoey had plenty of fun answering the door to the trick-or-treaters. Well, at least until she had to actually give out the candy.

And my parents stopped by for a visit and that was more than enough to keep the girls happy.

(Somehow the only picture I have of my mom has more than half her face cut out… we’ll have to work on that! Sorry Momma!)

All in all, this Halloween gets a big thumbs up. The girls had a blast either way. Which in the end, is all that matters
