Mood Board: Katie’s Living Space

Back with another mood board today (plus before & afters)! Get your own personalized mood board here :)

Here’s what Katie had to say about her living space:

“The room is our “Formal Living Room” but we really use it for non-TV socializing and lots of playing. So Kid Friendly and practical. We are on a budget and have to make the couch work for the time being. The ugly brown chair and ottoman & coffee table are tossers!

The currant wall color is Benjamin Moore Thunder and I am obsessed with it, lower portion is Benjamin Moore snowfall white!  I love both of them.  As you can see we have up the linen very light weight ivory color curtains from west elm and hope to get a “panel” fabric or curtain to make the room pop. Another issue with the space is that because the living room is incorporated/open feel with the dining room I have am trying to make sure that the large painting on the wall matches my color pallet.

I like ikat, stripes, chevron, preppy patterns…I would say my style is really eclectic/preppy…if that makes any sense!  In the living room I have these colorful burlap pillows if they could stay that would be awesome, I do like them and they work with the painting.”

And here’s what I came up with! This design makes me want to change our entire home. Darn you, mood boards.

Hasn’t she done a wonderful job?! I’m head over heals for this space!

Note: As some of you may have noticed, I did not include links to the products within the mood board. Unfortunately, I’ve made the choice, based on several reasons, to no longer provide them here on the blog. As much as I’d love to, providing links a second time is extremely time consuming. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean you won’t have access to sources! I create Pinterest boards specific to each and every mood board that I create. You can simply hop on over and scroll to find any product you may be interested in! Here’s the direct link to Katie’s Living Space!

This looks amazing! I’m with Megan, I love the area with the white console and wicker baskets!

Nicely done (both you & Katie)! I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for still providing the links (thru pinterest). It drives me bonkers when a blogger shows a cool mood board, “but won’t share their sources”. You are just divine Jessie! And thank you to Katie for providing before & after photos…. great job….you must be psyched!
