Mood Board: Laura’s Master Bedroom

Back with another mood board today!

Here’s what Laura had to say about her Master Bedroom:

“We’re looking for a relaxing, cozy space. It’s got absolutely no personality right now. The floors are unfinished hardwood and we need to put something down because it’s really chilly in the room and the floor is super squeaky. The walls are sort of a soft tan right now. I’m someone who’s body temp runs 10 degrees colder than everyone else so I try to steer clear of chilly colors on my walls. I’d like to have the option of changing the bedding around with the season. We have a big comfy duvet in on the bed now that I usually put away in the summer.

The furniture is my teenage bedroom set that I painted black during my last pregnancy (talk about nesting!) and it really should stay. It’s sturdy and pretty nice but it’s big. The bed obviously has to stay and we’ve tried it on different walls and this is really the best place for it. The headboard is from an old door that my husband and I covered with batting and fabric. I think it would be nice to keep, but needs to be another color/pattern. There is a big air conditioning unit above the bed that is covered in the winter but open in the summer and obviously has to stay. I’ve always wanted to hang something above our bed, but I don’t know how to navigate that.”

And here’s what I came up with!

Custom Mood Boards | Cape27Blog.com

Note: As some of you may have noticed, I did not include links to the products within the mood board. Unfortunately, I’ve made the choice, based on several reasons, to no longer provide them here on the blog. As much as I’d love to, providing links a second time is extremely time consuming. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean you won’t have access to sources! I create Pinterest boards specific to each and every mood board that I create. You can simply hop on over and scroll to find any product you may be interested in! Here’s the direct link to Laura’s Space!

Update: We’re taking a quick leave from mood boards and will NOT be accepting new clients for the time being. I’m currently booked through August, so we plan to reopen shop (or at least give an update) around that time. Thanks for your patience!

It would be great to see a photo of the space the moodboard was created for because it’s a little hard to visualize the description provided by the sender. Just a suggestion!
